All Models come with an MANUAL BYPASS SWITCH located behind the unit that allows you to turn the White LED lights on or off even if the vehicle is not in reverse. This function will work on all vehicles when running. In addition this Function is also available when Vehicle is off or not running only if you have power supplied to you 12V wire on the 7 way plug. To see if your vehicle has this feature we recommend purchasing a 7 Way Tester for about $10 delivered. Simply plug it in with the vehicle when off / ignition off and if the 12V light is on then you have constant power which allow you to take advantage of this feature.
Before You Buy PRO model
Hitch-Guard pro & PRO+ models
PRO Models come with the same MANUAL BYPASS SWITCH located behind the unit as the Hitch-Guard and XL that allows you to turn the White LED lights on or off even if the vehicle is not in reverse. The Strobe Lighting is powered by the same power source using Wireless Remotes for ON/OFF and Flashing Modes. All these functions will work properly when vehicle is on but if you have constant power on the 7 Way 12V (as indicated above) These functions will work with vehicle off also. Warning running your White LED's or Strobes without Vehicle running will will drain your battery with time.
